This tour is a relaxing ride through the greener and cultural north side of Osaka city. Expect an authentic slice of city life, pedalling alongside Osakan locals, other travellers and your friendly, knowledgeable, bilingual guide. This tour is 90% flat and can be completed by anyone who can ride a bike so join us for a bit of exercise, some fresh air, and to take the weight off your feet!
What to expect
Stop 1 · 15min
Cycle through the pleasant landscaped gardens and old European-style buildings of central Osaka's old business district.
Stop 2
Follow the river that cuts through the city, enjoy the peace, serenity and views across a lesser known part of Osaka.
Stop 3 · 15min
Though we will not have time to actually enter the museum, we will stop in the grounds and learn about the fascinating history of the area and its place within Japan's modernisation.
Stop 4 · 30min
Ride through the greenery of Osaka Castle park, stop for picture postcard views, a cool drink and a short explanation of the pivotal castle's role in Japan's history and culture.
Stop 5 · 10min
Visit Osaka's most beautiful city centre park and enjoy the beauty and surprising history of this photogenic and relaxing green space.
