Start with a coffee and a croissant made one of the city's finest baristas. Then walk through Mercato delle Erbe and the Quadrilatero with your guide, shopping for your own lunch at historic family shops: mortadella, prosciutto di Parma, coppa, Parmigiano Reggiano and local cheeses. At a fresh pasta lab, watch the sfogline roll out golden sfoglia by hand, then taste a portion of handmade pasta like lasagne or tagliatelle. Carry your shopping to a historic osteria where locals have brought their own food for centuries, and enjoy it with local wine and aged balsamic vinegar of Modena DOP. We finish with artisanal gelato. With a maximum of 10 guests, there's time for every question, and your guide will share where to eat for the rest of your stay.
